2023 Youth Art Showcase

The Orange City Arts Youth Art Showcase offers an opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work August 14 – 30, 2023, at the Stadscentrum Building in downtown Orange City IA. Twenty-eight works by local youth artists between the ages of 6 to 17 years old will be on display inside the Stadscentrum Building in downtown Orange City, IA. Prizes for Best of Show & Honorable Mention were given in each age category and awarded on August 30 at 6 pm during Arts on Central, the end-of-the-season celebration.

6 – 9 Age Group
Honorable Mention – Jonathan Spaan, “Superhero Kaleidoscope”
Best in Show – Vivian Adams, “Adams Family at Adams Homestead”
10 – 14 Age Group
Honorable Mention – Abigail DeVries, “Oto”
Best in Show – June Van Gorp, “Blue Animals (Bluey and Sapphire)”
15 – 17 Age Group
Honorable Mention – Sarah Groen, “Only Human”
Best in Show – Sarah Diekevers, “Tulip”
